Water, bypassed from the pressure line, flows through nozzles located in the hopper
and washes the solids into the ejector. There they are entrained by the jet action of
the pressure water and are discharged.

Water(motive side) is jet through the nozzle, the pressure energy possessed by
water is transformed into velocity energy. The motive water captures gas(vapor)
that is present in the suction division and flows into the diffuser while mixing with it.
Passing through the expanded division of the diffuser, the motive water goes out of
the diffuser while changing the velocity energy into a pressure energy.
